Dennis S. Albanese, Senior Vice President
Dennis is a college graduate (with honors) with a Bachelors of Architecture
Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology (1985)
in Chicago, Illinois. He also attained a Minor in Business Management and is a licensed real estate agent. Mr.
Albanese began his career working for the architectural firm of Brannon and
Cultiff Hotel Design Consultants in Memphis, Tennessee
. It was
there that he worked on drawings and specifications for hotel, restaurant and
banquet centers. Some most notably are, Damon’s, Perkin’s, Holiday Inn, Hampton
Inn, Quality Inn, Ramada Inn and Hyatt. In 1987
he came to work for Albanese Development Corporation, a hotel
development/management company that his father had founded.For the next 12 years
he worked side by side with his father in the design, development,
financing and management of several Holiday Inns, Hampton Inns and a 83,000 SF Medical Office Complex. Subsequent to his father’s
death in 1999, Mr. Albanese has been responsible for the management of the hotel
and office properties. In 2000, he financed and supervised a $900,000 guestroom renovation
of their 160 room Holiday Inn property in Normal, IL. In order to
relicense their Holiday Inn Alton franchise, he was intimately involved in
the planning and execution of that $1.8 million complete renovation in
Alton, Illinois. Mr. Albanese lives in Springfield, IL.
